Terms of use

Last updated: 15 October 2026

1. The service

Solutfa is a music practice application: score following through the microphone with pitch and rhythm verdicts, tuner, metronome, score library and editor, sheet-music scanning. It is published by tywyt SAS (see the legal notice).

The Solutfa account is also the account of the other products of tywyt SAS (the musical mini-games): these terms apply to this account, whichever product it was created from; each product may have its own rules of use, shown before you add it to your account.

2. Free of charge, and changes

The service is free and usable without an account. With a free account, take backup is limited to 60 minutes of stored audio and sheet-music scanning to 5 pages per day; beyond that, local use goes on without limit and you can free up space. The individual Solutfa Plus subscription, monthly or yearly, extends these limits and gives access to your history on all your devices; its prices and terms (renewal, cancellation, refund) are in the terms of sale, and the price including tax is shown before any commitment. What is free today will remain free for the local use described on the home page.

3. Account

Creating an account is optional. It requires a valid e-mail address and, for users under 15, that a parent or legal guardian creates and manages the account. You are responsible for keeping your sign-in means safe (passkey, access to your mailbox). You can delete your account at any time from the settings.

One account for every product. The same account (one identity, one sign-in) is used by the Solutfa app and by every mini-game of tywyt SAS: an account created from a mini-game is a Solutfa account. The My Solutfa account portal gathers your products: adding a product to your account first asks for your consent to its privacy section (for a minor under 15, a parent's consent); you can withdraw this consent, remove a product (erasing your progress in it or not) and export your data. What a game stored in your account (takes, recordings, practice sessions, scores) stays there when you withdraw your consent or remove the game: you find it in the app, where you can delete a take or a score. Deleting the account, from the app or the portal, deletes it for every product: subscriptions cancelled, each product notified, all its data erased.

4. Your content

The scores you import, scan or write, your takes and your recordings belong to you. You warrant that you hold the necessary rights on the scores you import or share. Solutfa uses your content only to provide the service (display, synchronisation between your devices if you have an account).

5. Fair use

You may not use the service to harm third parties, attempt to access other users' data, deliberately overload the servers or bypass usage limits (for example the number of scanned pages).

6. Availability and warranties

The service is provided "as is". Pitch and rhythm verdicts are a learning aid, not an expert assessment: they depend on the microphone, the sound environment and the instrument. tywyt SAS makes its best efforts to keep the service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted availability. Data kept on your device is under your device's responsibility; export what matters to you.

7. Governing law

These terms are governed by French law. In case of dispute, and failing an amicable solution, the competent courts are those of the registered office of tywyt SAS, subject to consumer-protection rules.
